A very merry Christmassy slice of bara brith in this loaf! Something so festive about the red cherries and boozy brandy aroma. Lovely eaten plain or buttered, with a pot of tea to wash down each slice.
The warmth of whisky and sticky sweet pieces of crystalised ginger run throughout this bara brith, full of fruit and flavour. Eat it sliced and slathered in salty butter or with a piece of cheese. Also very nice toasted.
